Accessible Station Bridges

The AVA bridge team demonstrated the future of manufactured infrastructure once again in an article with New London. The AVA bridge consortium within the Living Lab have continued to push the usual limitations of a construction based approach in order to deliver a system that can be repeatable with a site configured outcome. 

The future of footbridges promises a reduction in both capital and operational expenditure with less carbon and less maintenance. Whilst also being more robust, adaptable and reusable, stating that the bridge will have a second life elsewhere. The footbridge will come to life at a test track in Widmerpool which will show the benefits of this approach to footbridge design.
