Living Lab contribution to our green future

NSAR’s own Neil Robertson contributed to Rail Technology Magazine’s March 2021 issue. 

Neil points out the poor track record of large transport infrastructure projects, delivering late, over budget, failing to secure the benefits expected, or cancelled after a significant investment. 

TIES Living Lab will demonstrate a new model for accelerating the transition of the transport sector towards Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). Making a notable difference to our efforts to better understand and reduce carbon.

The article brings out some key outcomes in Living Lab including; carbon, offsite manufacturing, using algorithms for logistics, and social value.
